How to self discipline || self discipline


There are some techniques by adopting these techniques you can be more productive and self-disciplined. I will suggest some techniques below.
  • Use you time opportunities positively. For example, if you have 20 minutes until to your next college or university class. Then sit down in ground and do your homework as much as you can easily. If you have a long time, then make some flash cards of your previous lecture they will help you to learn key points of the lecture. In this way your homework and learning both are done in a short time.

  • Start something in such a way when you get a lab report assignment. At very first time you have to pull up the directions and at least start the cover page of assignments and also pull up some research links. It takes just 5 to 10 minutes but it makes more likely that you have finished what you have started.

  • When your thoughts are to0 much frustrating. Then block them and don’t think that you are busy. Take a deep breath and feel that you are easy. You must pretend that you are in “auto mode” and just get start. Auto mode means just shutting out distracting and frustrating thoughts and forcing your hands to open book and start your work.

  • Creating a time schedule for yourself usually don’t work. I strongly recommend that play some time games instead of making a strict time schedule. For example, pretend like as “I will complete this talk till to 10:00 O’clock if I finish”. This is a best trick to keep yourself on track.  This a best idea for self-accountability and self-discipline. By this method you can be more realistic.

  • Personally I don’t like writing the down the due dates on my dairy because it is so confusing. Instead of this I like to have some mental rules and regulations. For example, I finish my every project two days before the due date. This keeps me on the track. It’s a mental game. Set your mind to complete each project at least two days before the due date.

  • I don’t like to do a massive work at once. Instead of doing you work like a bull, do a little bit every day. If you have to complete a mega project, divide this work on the days available for this. Using this technique, you can do a lot of work feeling no difficulty. Use the same technique for your tests and exams. Learn your notes and flash cards daily. At the end you will be prepared and would not need to cram. This is a “two birds with one stone” game.

  • Use your morning time for constructive purpose. Particularly learning material should be learnt on the morning. In the morning mind is fresh everything is learnt rapidly. This technique gives you a productive morning as well as start of the day. This will make you to feel proud that you have completed most of your tasks early in the morning.

  • At night put you notes, worksheets and flash cards on your table. Then go to your bed and have a sleep. Try to sleep early at night. When you wake up. The first thing that you will see on your paper work get it done first.
