how to study biology


Some students find difficulty in studying various subjects like Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Math, History, etc. But remember that there is a solution of each problem. Student must use some techniques to solve this type of problem. Always remember that there is nothing impossible in the world. Because “IMPOSSIBLE” says that “I’M POSSIBLE” but there is a need of hardworking, consistency and loyalty. If you are loyal to your aim, then nothing is impossible in this world. Today I will tell you some tips which will help you to study “BIOLOGY” Let’s start!



IN YOUR CLASS
Making notes
I strongly recommend that make notes for each topic of biology whatever the format suites you. Some students like Cornell method. I also write notes on my note book and later on I write them in One Note app. It means that I can access my notes from my computer.
Asking the questions
Don’t hesitate while asking the questions from your teacher. One who asks more learn more. If you have any confusion remove this confusion before leaving the class. Do this by asking questions from your class teacher or class-mates.



REVISION & STUDY

I think most important thing about study of biology is to UNDERSTAND the topics. Don’t depend upon just memorization of any topic. If you can’t understand any topic, then follow the following tips.
Reading
Read your notes, revision guides, articles and books again and again. It will really help you to understand a topic.
Watching videos
There too much YouTube channels that can teach you so much about your biology. These videos will increase your information about different topics. A present research shows that anything which is watched is learnt 90% more than that which is just studied.
Making flash cards
Make some interesting flash cards about each topic. You can use them for the information of formulas and different structures, key ideas and topics.
Teaching someone
This technique works very well for each subject. If you teach a subject to someone it is learnt very well. This a famous and favorite technique for memorization of any subject.



EXPERIMENTS
If you have to write about an experiment of biological topic you did do it as soon as possible. Because the experiment is fresh in your mind and you know about the steps and techniques of experiment very well in earlier time.  Also research the similar topics and experiments related to your curriculum. This will help you to gain more information.



EXAMS

Smiling
A research shows that the students that sat in an exam while smiling can perform significantly better than those who didn’t smile. I will not force you to believe on this but I honestly believe on smiling technique. It can make you better. It makes you more confident. It lowers the stress and tension of exam.
 Knowing the exam format
You must have a short look on the past papers because this will help you to know about the style of questions you will be asked in your exam. This will prepare you mentally for the exam. This help you that how to attempt the paper and how to manage the time.
Practice makes a man perfect
Before entering in your exams you must practice your topics. I strongly recommend taking and marking many practice tests as you can easily. This technique will make you more familiar with the exam process. I will tell you about strengths and weaknesses.
